L’ECLIPSE

D’après la pièce Romeo et Juliette, de

William Shakespeare

ECLIPSE, the death of the sun and the moon, is an adaptation and poetic variation around Romeo and Juliet, who became the moon and the sun. Hybrid form mixing theater, dance, song and clown. It is a questioning around identity, drive, faith and desire. Romeo and Juliet are, here, two women who love each other, the rest you know: everyone dies at the end. For what?

At the Étoile du Nord theater in Paris, with the support of the Auvray-Nauroy school in Saint Denis, Shakirail and Gare XP. (2020)
